Reflections from "As a man thinketh" by James Allen

"A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed-seeds will fall therein and will continue to produce their kind."

Awareness/Change/Take Action: I must actively put in good thought-seeds into my mind to prevent useless weed-seeds from falling into the garden of my mind, I have to actively plant good thought-seeds.
This means active cooperation with the law of thought on my path and as James Allen says, the result is a direct measure of the effort - my results will be directly proportionate to the effort I put into this activity.

I'd hear myself say things like: I can't do it because so and so are already doing it I'm not good enough I'...
