I've been reading a great little booklet on the power of thought and it seemed like a good idea to share some of my thoughts, so here goes.

James Allen states that:
"Man is buffeted by circumstances so long as he believes himself to be the creature of outside conditions, but when he realises that he is a creative power, and that he may command the hidden soil and seeds of his being out of which circumstances grow, he then becomes the rightful master of himself"

Awareness - I am always the master. It is easier for me to believe that I am at the mercy of some external force, or that the experiences I face are completely outside of my control, but when I realise that every thing begins with a thought that has been nurtured in my mind I truly become the master of the personal circumstances of my life.

Change - I will stop putting the responsibility elsewhere

I'd hear myself say things like: I can't do it because so and so are already doing it I'm not good enough I'...
