Happy Sunday

Today is a great day because it is the day the Lord has made and I am alive and grateful to God for everything and for my life. I hope you're also having a great day wherever you are.

As promised I've been posting on this blog in keeping with the challenge I set myself to post every single day for 90 days. However, due to lack of adequate planning on my part I missed some days and to remain accountable to you I've decided that for every day I miss, I'll revert back to Day 1 of the challenge, now the heat is on 😳

I know that by doing this I will develop:
  1. The habit of consistency - up until now I have struggled with this, I start beautifully but then move on to start the next thing and the next thing and forget that I haven't finished the first thing I started or the thing I had purposed in my mind to do.
  1. A changed mindset - up until now, every time I missed a deadline or fall of the bandwagon I would feel guilty but I know that by sticking to this my mindset will change from that of guilt to that of an achiever and overcomer ✌💪
  1. The momentum to keep going - up until now because of the distraction and feelings of guilt, instead of just picking myself up and carrying on, I'd stop completely and wallow in disappointment in myself but I know that by persisting with this activity I'll have developed the capacity to keep going for my goals, dreams and vision.
That's it for now, see you tomorrow.

Love

Reflections from "As a man thinketh" by James Allen

"As a being of intelligence, power and love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills." Awareness: I hold the key to the change I desire, I must learn to look inwards and begin to work this principle in my life.

Reflections from "As a man thinketh" by James Allen

Photo by Thought Catalog on Unsplash "The outer condition of your life is always a reflection of your inner state. We are victims of circumstances only so long as we consider ourselves pawns of fate, tossed here and there by outside forces. But if you realise your creative power - if you assume responsibility for the seeds and soil of your inner garden - then you become the master of your fate' James Allen Awareness - As long as I continue to think of myself as the victim of circumstance, nothing will change. Take Action/Change - As master of my fate, I will no longer have a victim mentality but turn it around by working on the inner garden of my mind/thoughts
