Celebrate your small wins

Celebrate your small wins.

It is so easy to fall into the trap of focusing on what we don't, that we fail to see what we do have. This life is a journey filled with big wins and small wins.

Recognising and acknowledging the small wins is so essential.

I myself am sometimes prone to complaining about what I don't yet have and in the process of doing that I overlook what I do have, but I've realised and I'm still learning the benefits of acknowledging and expressing genuine gratitude for what I call the little wins.

Something supernatural takes place when we give thanks and show gratitude.

Yesterday I shared about how I secured my first contract role after changing my mindset. Instead of focusing on what I felt was an injustice (which by the way was not, it is just a fact of life), I began to express thanks to God for the privilege of having a role which afforded me the opportunity to earn an income. I didn't know how it was going to happen, but I knew it was just a matter of time before I secured my next role and indeed it wasn't a long process.

So I dare you to start to celebrate and really enjoy the little things and watch the supernatural take place in your life and situation.

Love

"As a being of intelligence, power and love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills." Awareness: I hold the key to the change I desire, I must learn to look inwards and begin to work this principle in my life.

Reflections from "As a man thinketh" by James Allen

Photo by Thought Catalog on Unsplash "The outer condition of your life is always a reflection of your inner state. We are victims of circumstances only so long as we consider ourselves pawns of fate, tossed here and there by outside forces. But if you realise your creative power - if you assume responsibility for the seeds and soil of your inner garden - then you become the master of your fate' James Allen Awareness - As long as I continue to think of myself as the victim of circumstance, nothing will change. Take Action/Change - As master of my fate, I will no longer have a victim mentality but turn it around by working on the inner garden of my mind/thoughts
