Reflections from "As a man thinketh" by James Allen

"Man is buffeted by circumstances so long as he believes himself to be the creature of outside conditions, but when he realises that he is a CREATIVE POWER and that he may command the hidden soil and seeds of his being out of which circumstances grow, he then becomes the rightful master of himself.
Reflecting on this highlights the fact that I have been created with creative power (made in the image of God) and I have the power to command as master of myself the circumstances of my life.

Awareness: I have creative power, the power is within me, it is not without.

Change / Take action: Again, I will take back control of my life, stop looking outwards and begin to make commandments over my thoughts, my life and ultimately over my circumstances.

I'd hear myself say things like: I can't do it because so and so are already doing it I'm not good enough I'...
