Reflections from “As a man thinketh” by James Allen

“The outer world of circumstance shapes itself to the inner world of thought, and both pleasant and unpleasant external conditions are factors, which make for the ultimate good of the individual. As the reaper of his own harvest, man learns both by suffering and bliss.”

Awareness: This just stands out to me. I cannot expect a particular result on the outside while doing something completely opposed to the results I'm expecting or yet still, nurturing something completely different in nature on the inside, i.e planting oranges, but expecting mangoes.

Take action: This week, I'll be examining my thought processes, what I'm really putting in and the results I see.

Hello and update

Hello and Happy New Year It's 2019 and I realise it's been a long, long while :) since I've posted anything here. A lot has happened in my life, but my heart has been coming back to this blog and the need to start writing again, so write I will. Writing is one of my first loves and I intend to revive this love using this blog :) To that end, I will start by putting up posts on things on my heart, challenges I'm involved in - currently doing a 30 Day Minimalist Challenge, reading As a man thinketh booklet by James Allen for 15 days straight - goals I want to achieve, amongst a few. Anyway, now I've put it out there I will be posting on this blog for 90 days straight. Love BelovedEsther
