Reflections from "Slay Doubt" by Detola Amure

Hey there

In late April, I took part in a 15-day challenge put together by Detola Amure, author of the book "Slay Doubt!: How to recognise and confidently manifest God’s calling on your life ". The book is specifically written for women and teaches how to slay doubt and confidently manifest God's call on your life.

The book and the challenge impacted me so much I had to buy copies for my younger sisters. Right from the very first chapter, it felt like the lights were being turned on in my heart, almost like the book was answering unasked questions in my heart.

Over the next 15-days, I'll post a short reflection from the challenge, but I encourage you to check out Detola's book

See you tomorrow.

Hello and update

Hello and Happy New Year It's 2019 and I realise it's been a long, long while :) since I've posted anything here. A lot has happened in my life, but my heart has been coming back to this blog and the need to start writing again, so write I will. Writing is one of my first loves and I intend to revive this love using this blog :) To that end, I will start by putting up posts on things on my heart, challenges I'm involved in - currently doing a 30 Day Minimalist Challenge, reading As a man thinketh booklet by James Allen for 15 days straight - goals I want to achieve, amongst a few. Anyway, now I've put it out there I will be posting on this blog for 90 days straight. Love BelovedEsther

It feels like only yesterday when we were happily chanting happy new year and looking forward with expectation.  Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? Isaiah 43:18  What a challenging year it's been. From the natural disasters reported at the start of the year, to the current global pandemic, to the current fight for justice for the lives lost at the hands of those in authority.  Faced with these uncertainties, and what we now term the new normal, many don't know how they'll make it through, but I'd like to encourage you to  keep pressing forward despite all the challenges. With less than six months to go, there's no telling what you and I can accomplish in between that time. Don't give up hope, kee...
